American Windmill by Luyomi333 American Windmill by Luyomi333
You can say much about regenerative Energy, but I just love wind turbines of every kind. Especially the big normal ones look just like giants walking over our earth like dinosaurs.
I especially liked to make the fan and working with paper straps like they were threads.
This windmill is fully functional :3. A Gif-animation of the working windmill is included in the 7zip-archive As well as of course the instructions to build this one.

That's nice of you :)
Do you(or any other reading this) think I should add a texture to the windmill? It seems there are some people who would find it better. I always think, that paper should look like paper except Papercrafts of Anime Figures which wouldn't discernible otherwise.

Personally, I think that textures would detract from the form of the object. As it is right now, it's almost like a precise minimalist sculpture, rather than a scale model or paper toy.

:XD: There is a normal photo in portrait format included. I honestly tried to rotate it right by 90 degrees, but it just looked not right.
