Snow Dandelion by Luyomi333 Snow Dandelion by Luyomi333
Actually I only wanted to demonstrate how one could relatively easily make a the seed head of a dandelion. The leaves and the flower head and the bud are only gimmicks so to say. That's why I made them more or less freehand. And that's the reason why the file is 18mb large, because I needed more pics to illustrate the making process/instructions.

Height: 21cm

Super awesome, any word I could use would not be enough to give credit to your work. All of your models are so unique and I aim to make at least one. My biggest thing is I do not know how to open them. Can any one tell me the program I need? Now I must look again. Thank you for sharing your work. Alisa

Those hairs and petals are roughly 1mm, so it's 1.5x to 2x larger than a normal dandelion. It was hard enough to size it down to this. I basically started with the smallest most difficult part: the hairs of the seed head and then built the rest to scale. Btw: This model took roughly 10-20hrs? I built this quite some time ago and then gave this to my grandma as a gift. The seed hairs are a pain in the :) to make. Even though I made instructions to build it, I myself built this only one time.
